Greg Hoyt, PGA
Head Golf Professional
Greg grew up in Lake Placid, New York. He enjoyed growing up in the Olympic Village with all the activities it had to offer. At a young age, Greg discovered the enjoyment of golf while hitting practice balls on his grandfather’s farm. Within a few years, it was evident that he had a true passion for the game. Greg made the varsity golf team as an 8th grader and became captain of the team his Junior year. After high school, Greg went on to Campbell University and completed the PGA Golf Management Program while earning his business degree. He graduated in 2011 and was elected into the PGA as a Class A member shortly after. Before moving to Jackson Hole in 2014, Greg spent 4 years at Little River Golf & Resort in Pinehurst, NC. Greg started as an intern and quickly moved to First Assistant Golf Professional. He was then promoted to the sales and marketing department within the resort. When Greg’s not on the golf course, you can find him somewhere else outdoors. Greg is responsible for all golf operations as well as the Club’s retail shop and winter outdoor amenities. This will be Greg’s fifth year at the sporting club, and he couldn’t picture himself anywhere else.
